CONCLUDING DAY. A CHAPTER OP ACCIDENTS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Napier, June 2G. Tlio Napier Park Racing Club's winter meeting was concluded in fino weather to-day. The totalisator investments amounted to .£14,491, as against Ji11,769 for the second day last year. The total for tho two days was .£29,125, an increiso of ,£GGS6 over last year's figures. The jumping in most of tho races was poor, and several of th,» riders wero hurt. Allure took off too won at one of the fences in tho Poraite Hurdles, and turned a complete somersault. Tho horse broke its back and had to be destroyed. The rider (F. Tutchen) received a very severe shaking. In tho same race Player fell opposite the stand, and T. N. Jones, who was rendered unconscious for a time, was badly bruised about the face. J. Lyford came down with Hravest in the Park Steeplechase, and suffered a slight concussion, in addition to being bruised on .the right side. Tyrannic fell with 11. Coker, who was badly shaken, and Fond Memory fell with Taylor, who received a nasty cut over the left eye, and several bruises in the stomach.
