The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency 00., Ltd., report-:—At B-aumai oil Tuesday wo had a. small entry of sheep and cattle, which sold as under:-Sheep: Ewes in lamb, Ids. Id.: fat wethers, 2Cs. Limited (late James Macintosh and Co.l, roport having held their weekly sale In thoir Wjiipoua . saley-ards (Masterton) on Wednesday, when they offered a yarding of sheep well above advertised numbers. These wore well competed for, and the whole yarding was sold under the hammer. the cattle entry was ft small ono, business at auction being very dull, and only a few lots changed hands. Fat wethers, 19s. 4d.; forward store wethers, 17s. 9d.: pmall two-tooth wethers, 13s. to 13e. 6d.; fat and forward lambs, 12s. 6d.; fat owes. 14s.
