TO-DAY'S DINNER.
[Specially Written for The Dominion.) WEDNESDAY. White Soup. Sea. Pie. Potatoes. Swede Turnips. Rice Pudding. ; Stowed Prunes. SEA PIE. ljlb. steak, seasoning to taste, nearly 1 pint water. For the crust—6oz. flour, 2oz. suet, finely chopped, J teaspoon baking- powder, \ teaspoon salt. Out the steak into neat squares. Put on to a plate with. 1 dessertspoon flour, 1 teaspoon salt, i teaspoon pepper, 1 teaspoon minced onion, 1 teaspoon chopped parsley, and a pinch of spico (if liked). Mix all well together with a knife; then put into a saucepan, and cover with the water. Simmer gently for an hour; but it must not boil. Sift the flour, baking ptfwder, and salt together; rub tho snot in, and' mix to ft paste with 1 gill cold water. Roll out the size of the cover of the saucepan, nnd place it carefully over the meat. Let it cook slowly for anothor hour;, then cfit the paste in four pieces, and place eacli piece on the side of a hot dish. Dish the meat in tho middle, and pour the gravy over. (Tough meat must be allowed longer timo boforo putting the paste in.) FOR TO-MORROW. -Bice. Stock. . Shoulder of mutton. Apples. Sago. Tapioca. \ Defiance Butter. All Grocers*
