Tlio "Morning Post" states that it is hoped that the principal liners to Australia, Canada, and South Africa will shortly be armed. The Admiralty will provide the guns and possibly one hundred rounds per ship. The gun crews will mostly be naval reservists. Tho Admiralty will pay the gnu. crews an extra threepence per day, and the gunlayers ninepence extra per day. Naval reserve officers will bo stationed at tho terminal ports, and they will bo responsible for tho 'training of tho crews.
