ANNUAL MEETING. annual meeting of tho Egmont A. aiid P. Association was presided over by Mr. O. Hawkon. The reports of the executive and tho treasurer Showed an excess of assets over liabilities of £5509 3s, Bd., and a credit of JC26I 16s. 9d. at j the close of the year'.'. The committee stated that very great interest continues to be taken in tho association. an'd; adds that it is pleasing to noto that many of tho yonnger farmers are joining." During tbe year 120 members were nominated for membership.
The secretary stated- that 652 members had paid their subscriptions and 120 had not done so yet. Tho last year had been a very hard year to get in money, but he considered - all members' subscriptions shown 011 the balance-sheet were recoverable.
