Tho road- unexpectedly converges 111 and crosses the railway. Tho- front wheel' was buckled and the motor-car overturned,, but 110 one was. hurt.
: Two men wore killed and, four injured by tho collayso of- a cliff' at Rottiligdean. near Brighton, which they- wiw engaged 'in slrcngthoniiKr.. Silv Edward! Carson, j who lives at Ruttingdean, sent-his motorcur to assist in removing tho injured. At Plymouth a medical research student was found- dead in bed. Ho had: apparently taken a whiff of . chloroform: from a lwttlo to induco slefcp, and, the bedclothes being over him, lie did not wase again.
