[Specially Written for The Dominion.] MONDAY. ~ Vegetable Soup. Cold Roast Beef. Mashed Potatoes. Beetroot. Salad' Dressing. Banana Fritters. Cream. BANANA 1 FRITTERS. For batter—Jib. flour, pinch salt, 1 egg, teaspoonful butter, 1 gill tepid water. Sicvo tho flour --and sallt into a basin. Beat itho yolk of an egg with the water. Mako into a smooth batter with the flour; add butter (melted), and just before using the white of tho egg beaten stiff. Cut tho bananas in half, lengthways, dip in the batter, fry on smoking hot fat, draip and serve alt once, with castor sugar sprinkled over. FOR TO-MORROW. Stock, i pint lentils, soaked overnight, leg: of mutton, suet. Defianco Butter Is. Id. per lb. All Grocers*
