It is proposed in the case of either loan to provide an annual sum equal to one jkt centum of the. amount borrowed as a sinking fund for the repayment of tho loan, and that the whole of the loan will be repayable at. the expiration of 41 years from the Ist day of April, 1913, or at an earlier date.

The Council proposes to pledge as security for tho said loan of .£IB,OOO, aiul tho interest thereon and the sinking fund, a special rate in accordance with tho above Statute, estimated at 1 5-32 d. in two pound on tho rateable value (on the basis of tho unimproved value) of all rateable property within the said defined part of tho Borough of Onslow. /.
