Wellington Wedding. A p;uiet wedding took place yesterday at !St. Paul's Pro-Cathedral, when.Miss Ina Gow, second daughter of Mrs. Gow, Hawkestone Street, was married to Mr. Charles Hi Stephens, of Wellington. •
Featherston Wedding. ' ." An interesting-and pretty wedding took place at Featherston yesterday, when the Rev. T. B.; Stephenson, vicar of Petone, was married to Mis 3 Enid Matthews, youngest daughter of Mr. Alfred Matthews, "Wairongoinai," Featherston. The officiating clergyman was the Ven. Archdeacon Harper, vicar of St..Peter's, Wellington. The bride was attended by one bridesmaid, Miss Murjel Fenwick, daughter of Mr. T. Fenwick, of Featherston. The best man was tho Rev. Charles Palmer; vicar of Shannon, and the groomsman Mr. E. Stephenson, brother oi the bridegroom, After the ceremony a reception was held by Mr. and Mrs. Matthews at the Featherston Hall, a great number of guests being present. Presentation. A ,very pleasant function took place at Godber's yesterday, when Miss Bolla Young, who has been with tho firm for the past eleven years, was presented with a tea and colTeo service by tho firm.and, by her fellow employees, with a caso of silver afternoon tea spoons.

Ladies' Swimming Club. A general meeting of tho ladies' branch of tho Swifts Swimming Club was held nt tho Y.M.C'.A. buildings last evening, Mr. W. Skegg presiding. Tho following committee wns elected:—Misses 0. Smith, O. Arthur, 0. Moyes, 11. Murrell, 8.. Gibbs. It was decided lo hold a carnival nt Te Aro Baths on February 15. Tho meeting' decided to hold threo races on the following dates before tho carnival:—Tuesday, January 21, 50yds. handicap; Wednesday, January 29, 25yds. school girls' vacej and Wednesday, February 5, 50yds. breaststroke handicap, tho races to start a£ .5.30 p.m. in each instance.
