White ; canaries were, recently exhibited for the first timo as a <)lass at tho International Cage. Bird Show, at the Boyal. Horticultural Hall, Westminster. Four of, tho eight shown were a spotless white with pink eyes; tho others had faint streaks of groan or yellow. A pair which won the 'third prize belong to. Mrs. William Gould, of South. Streot,-Park Lane, W., and wore recently brought with great oaro from Medina, Arabia. "They were very delicate in health when they arrived," said' Mrs. Gould, "but I fed them on cod-liver oil, white grapes, and sweet apples, and they are now much better."
