A meeting of four hundred doctors, on the chairman's casting vote, decided to accept the terms of the local Insurance Association. The doctors ran the gauntlet of a dozen Medical Association pickets, frock-coated and silk-hatted, who urged-them to keep away from the meeting]
The Insurance Commissioners announce that the doctors may charge higher fees than the Act allows if an insured patient togrees to pay the difference.
