WESTPORT TOURNAMENT. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) '■:'■.': Westport, December 26. The'Westport Boxing Association's amateiir-: tournament was held to-day. The results were as follows in four special sisround bouts:— ' ' ' _ Gilmour,' lOst. 41b. (Millerton) beat F. Biddulph, 9st. 101b. (Denniston) on points. W. Kennedy, 10' st. 21b. (Runanga) beat J. Geddis, lOst. 21b. (Millerton)'on points. W. Senior, lOst. 61b. (Westport) beat Lattrell, lOst. (Poverty Bay), the latter throwing in' the towel at the' end of the owing to breaking a. bone in his left hand.'
J. O'Neill, Bst. 21b. (Westport) beat Fryer, Bst. 91b. (Gisborne) the latter giving in in-the fifth round owing to an injury to his hand. -. \
