QUARANTINE OF IRISH CATTLE. By Teleerach—Press Association—Copyright London, December 9. ; The Board of Agriculture is imposing a period of detention on all cattle imported from Ireland, whether or not foot-and-mouth disease is prevalent in tho district from whence they come.
There is much indignation and alarm amongst Irish breeders and dealers over this action.
