DEAD MAN'S INTRIGUES. By Telesrapk—Press Association—Copyright London, December 9. ■ Delay, the solicitor who committed suicide at Newquay, was the co-respondent in the divorce case Young v. Young and Daly. His friends, relations, and solicitors never knew that he had been divorcee! under the assumed name of Arthur Daly. He. subsequently married Mrs. Young. The "Daily Mail" states that Delay, on returning to England from Singapore, led a double life. He became acquainted in 1910 with Mrs. Young,, and until.she wrote that she was going away her hus-band-was unaware of the co-respondent's existence. Yielding to his wife's wish, Young agreed to commence divorce proceedings. He was only aware -,that "Arthur Daly" was the co-respondent, and did. not know the man's occupation or address. Delay, used different solicitors to transact business under both names, and only saw the divorce solicitor once. He ' took humble ■ lodgings "for"' receiving the Court's citation. His .family and friends and- family solicitor were not aware of the divorce suit. After his marriage with Mrs. Young in ' New York, Delay settled .£IO,OOO, on his wife, and again became Delay. He met the Nowill's while travelling about the time that Mrs. Young 1 left her husband. -,
