BOY BOXERS.

The gymnasium of the Boys' Institute in Arthur Street presented a lively scene when a boxing contest between representatives of tho Boys' Institute and the Croydon School took place. 'The boys displayed splendid temper, and not a little acionco in their* clashes, and appeared to thoroughly enjoy the encounter. The Croydon boys won four of the eight twoniinuto bouts, and drew one, and,, the institute's representatives had three wins and ono draw. Mr. C. Bridge was referee, and Mr. R. W. M'Villey acted as timekeeper. The room was crowded with spectators, including Miss Somervillo (of fie Croydon School) and some of her lady friends^
