THE WAIHI MINE. Auckland, December 6. Tho . superintendent. of the Waihi Gold Mining Company reports that for the period ended November 23 the mill ran 391 days,'crushing 15,219 tons of ore, of the assay value of £2 89. 2d. per ton (equivalent to £36,670). . The actual. bullion from this crushing, is not, however, available,, the value having, been absorbed, by,^the cyanide • plant, where it still remains * for future recovery. It should bo explained that when the battery is running regularly a certain- percentage of '-.bullion is always absorbed in tho cyanide plant, zinc boxes, etc. During the stoppage caused by the strike, a complete clean-up of all sources where tho bullion was -so absorbed was made, resulting in tho recovery of bullion valued at £51,743. This bullion has now been shipped, and is, of-course, additional -to tho outputs already reported up to the middle of May last, when the strike began. Including thia £51,743, tho total amount won from the mine to date is £10,0J3,7M.

Walhl, December 6. The-Waihi Gold Mining Company during the period of 39 days ending November 23 crue'hed and treated 15,218 tons of ore. The bullion' resulting from the treatment of .this ora has boon absorbed In plant, partly replacing bullion valued at £51,743 which was cleaned up and shipped during tlie Btrilie. DREDGING.
