AN EXPERTS VIEWS. Interesting remarks by Mr. A. Matthews, tho well-known Romney breeder, of Wairongomai, FeatherstonWhen delivering a lecture to fanners at Masterton 011 Romney sheep, Mr. Matthews stated with regard to sheep-dipping;- I have not seen a louso in my flock for twenty years, and if at shearing time a tick is seen, it is such a raro occurrence that tho shearer is certain to call my attention to it. I have just had over 500 ram hoggets shorn, and not a tick was wen among them, and I never dip more than once a year, and always early in the season."
As Mr. Matthews has beon a continuous user of "White's" Dip for 1G yeaTS, liis remarks speak volumes for tho cfficncy of the Hawkc's Bay mixture. Tiioso desirous of putt ins themselves in the happy position of Mr. Matthews with regard to their (locks will do well to give "While's" liip a trial this (Mining season.
