REFORM PARTY.
MEETING OF THE EXECUTIVE. A meeting of the National Executive of the Reform party was held at the Occidental Hotel yesterday morning. Present: The- Hon. W. F. Mnssoy, Messrs. E. B. Williams (ITawko's JJay), E. W. Alison (Auckland), 12. C. lime, and Mrs. I\ W. Haslam (Canterbury), R. Scott, M.P. (Ota«o), 11. Smith (Waikato). Messrs. C. I'. Lindcgrccu. and David Jones (organisers), and Mrs. von Sturmer (organiser of women's branches) also attended.
Apologies were sent by Messrs. D. D. Maefarlano (Canterbury), J. M'Gregor (Bunedin), and W. 11. D. Hell (Wcllin»ton). I'eelinK reference was mode to the death of Mrs. Newman, a member of the executive, and a resolution of condolence with Dr. A. K. Newman was passed. Reports of the organisers were received. Mr. Lindegreen and Mr. Jones gavo details of the work which had been, done in the North Island and South Island respectively since tho National Conference, and Mrs. von Stunner submitted a epecial report, which stated that eleven women's branches had been formed in tho Auckland province, with a membership of about 700. •
It was decided to proceed with tho publication of a "Reform l'arty'e Annual," and a committee was set up to deal with the matter. Various matters in connection with the better organisation of the party were discussed and dealt with.
