CITY FIRE
House 28 in Frederick Street caught fire yesterday afternoon' at about half-past two, and before tho brigade suppressed tho flames a good deal of damage was don© to the cottage. Mr. George Woodward owns the premises, which were insured in tho Phoenix Oftice. for .£7OO. Tlio fire, it 'is reported, was 'caused through Mrs. Woodward, who was cleaning somo material, putting a hot iron down on a mat on which bonzine had been spilt.
