EXPLOSION OF CHEMICALS.
EMPLOYEES HURLED IN ALL DIRECTIONS. By Telegraph—Frees Association—Copyright (Rec. November 26, 9 p.m.) New York, November 25. ■ By an explosion of chemicals , at the Union Sulphur Company's premises in Brooklyn, seventy employees were hurled in all directions. Eighteen, were 'takei to the hospital, and it is feared that many of them are fatally injured. A fire followed the explosion, and destroyed the plant, doing damage to the extent of a million dollars (^£200,000).
