FEILDING.
The bowling season was opened in Feilding on Wednesday, That is to say* all the formalities were gone through except the'rolling of the bowls along the gMen. Twice previously had the president (Mr. John Cobb) and Mrs. Cobb prepared for the proper entertainment of the visitors and members at the opening, but the function had to be postponed on account of the weather. The green was soaping' wet, but it has been so well built that a couple of days of fine weather will leave it fine for play.
