THE DOUBLE WELCOME. ! Tho following arc tho arrangement* which havo been mado in connection with' tho visit to Wellington of tho Vancouver High School Cadets and tho return of tho New Zealand Cadets, who aro returning from a visit to Canada:—

Tho arrangements, to billet tho boys of lAth detachments whilst in Wellington , have been completed by tho Victoria and Navy Leagues' brancuos of this city, valuablo aid having been proffered by tho authorities of tho Wellington College. Tho Vancouver High School Cadets are duo to arrivo in Wellington from tho south at 7 a.m. on Wednesday next (November G). The Union S.S. Company has invited them to breakfast on board. Aftor breakfast tho visitors will march to tho Town Hall, whoro thev will bo given a combined civic and military reception. by tho Mayor and officers of the staff.

Tho New Zealand Cadets will arrive from Auckland by the Maiu Trunk (afternoon) express 011 Tuesday next (November 5), and aftor briug wolcomed at tho station by tho Mayor, will march lo the Parliamentary Buildings, where they will be accorded a welcome by the Prime Minister and mombers of Parliament.

On Wednesday next, at 2.30 p.m., both detachments will parade at Newtown Park, and undor tho officials of tho Wellington district will give a display of drill nml physical exorcises. After tho parade tho boys of both detachments will proeeod to Government _ House, where, at 4 p.m., they will 1)0 inspected and afterwards entertained by hi*. Excellency the Governor. Should the' weather bo unpropitious, a public reception at tho Town Hall will take the place of tho parado at the Park. At 0 a.ui. on Thursday next, the two detachments will be taken to Seatoun by the Government steamer Janio Seddon. thero to inspect tho new fi-inch guns. If time permits, they will also mako a call at Fort Ballance. During the same afternoon, tho visitors and our own hoys will bo entertained at tho Concert Chamber of the Town Hall by tho Dofenca Minister.
