LAWN TENNIS.
THORNDON CLUB'S MEETING. The annual general meeting of the Thorndon Lawn Tennis Club was held at the Hutt County Council offices on Thursday. Mr. L. G. Mackay presided. The question of entering teams for tho Wellington Lawn Tennis Association's intorclub matchos was postponed. In order to improve tho finances of the club the subscriptions were increased, and authority tor alter tho rules was given accordingly. Tho election of officers resulted as follows:—President, Mr. R. M. Simpson (rc-clected); vice-president, ius'. L. G. Maokay (re-elected); committee, Misses W. Ilnnnay and Tennant (re-elected), Messrs. A. Young (re-elected), G. F. Smytho (re-elected), and G. H. Fell; lion, auditor, Mr. R. N. K. Swanston (re-elect-ed); hon. treasurer, Mr. L. S. Thompson; lion, secretary, Mr. A. L. Berry (re-clect-ed).
