ARNST ENTERTAINED. By Telegraph—Press Association—CodttleM Sydney, Octobor 18. A welcome was tendered by rowing men to Arnst, Mr. William Beach, ex-cham-pion sculler, presiding. Mr. Beach said ho felt surq that had Arnst been well he oould have beaten Barry in the morning and Durnan in the afternoon. Even now he was confident that Arnst could get well enough to beat Barry. Arnst, replying, explained that the papers were incorrect in reporting that he collapsed in the race on the Thames. Ho eased up when ho saw Barry finishing. He advised Prarco to take some of his friends to England as trainers when ho went to row Barry.
