FEATHERSTON ITEMS.

An operetta, entitled "Tho Disagreeable Princess," was staged at the Featherston Town Hall on Thursday night, under tho direction of Miss K. Battle, teacher of the Tauherinikau School. Thcro was a largo audience. Several of those taking part •were school children, who acted exceedingly well, and tho performanco went off very well. The cast of characters was as follows:—Tho Disagreeable Princess, Hilda Lyforil; Prince Love All, lvv Taitj iving> Dorothy Tullyj Queen, Winnie Sadler; Love Quoeii, Julie lirough; Witch, Ella Davis; Nurse, Cora Tait; Page, Stella Tully. Tho proceeds will be applied towards tho Taulierinikau School piano fund.
