, Paris, October 17. «. n ® w spapor "Liberte" states that tho attainment of peace between Turkey and Italy in regard to Tripoli was largely duetto Sir Edward Grey, British SccTOtary of State for Foreign Affairs, who several days ago advised Turkey to come to terms. On Tuesday last the Italian Ambassador in London informed Sir Edward Groy that unless Turkish procrastination ended Italy would-commence hostilities in tho Aegean Sen. Sir Edward Grey then informed the Porte of Italy's intention, and the I'orte accepted the peace terms. SULTAN GRANTS AUTONOMY. Rome, Octobbr 17. The Sultan has issued a Firman granting autonomy to the 'Arabs in Tripoli and Cyrenaica. AMNESTY GRANTED, (Rec. October 18, 11.15 p.m.) Rome, October 18. A proclamation lia3 been issued granting amnesty; to the participants in the war in Tripoli and Cyrenaica, and conferring religious freedom.
