Sydney, September 13. Iu tho Legislative Assembly a Bill, providing for the readmission as a solicitor of Mi-. Meagher, struck oft the rolls for his connection with the famous Dean ca«e, was read a first time. The "Daily Telegraph," commenting on the Bill to readmit Mr. Meagher as solicitor, say* that, of the strange developments in politics lately, this is the most astonishing. It describes the Bill as an attempt to use political power to override and intimidate the law courts.
