ENTHUSIASTIC PREPARATIONS TO HO.NOUK MR. MASSEY.

Auckland, September 15. There is every indication that the address which is lo bo presented to llio Prime Minister (the Hon. W. V. Massey) on the occasion of his visit to Auckland during the third wed; of October will bo one of thci largest addresses ever presented in this Dominion. Everywhere tho shoots to bo attached to tho address pruper are being rapidly lilted with names, and from all parts of the province arc coming requests' for further supplies of blank sheets. It seems likely, too, that tlie gathering, which is to' be held in the Auckland Town Hall in Mr. Masscy's honour, will bo a huge one representative of nil parts of the Auckland district. Great activity is being shown by Hie ladies in tho Auckland district in the formation of branches of tho Women's Political Reform League. The honorary organiser (.Mrs. Von Stunner) lias been busy during tho last week, and two successful meetings were held. The first was on Wednesday in the Ley* Institute, PonsonV, and Mrs. J. P. Campbell presided. It was decided to form a branch of the league in the Auckland West electorate. The following officers were elected:—Proeident. Mrs. Bedford; vice-presidents, Mrs. E. A. James and Mrs. Stephens; secretary, Miss Ross; treasurer, Mrs. H. N. Bagnall; delegate to the district eiecutive, Mrs. E. A. James.

The second meeting was held in Romuera on Thursday afternoon, when n branch was formed in the Parnell eloctorati,. Addresses were given by tho lion, organiser and Mrs. l>. J. Campbell, and the proceedings were very enthusiastic throughout.
