The Methodist Church of Now Zealand is now definitely severed from the Methodist Church of Australia as nil independent body. A special Act had to bo passed by tlio Parliament of New Zenland and of each' of tho Australasian States. The president of tho Methodist Confers one© (tho Rev. Mr. Ready) received word to-day that the Bill had been passed by tho Parliament of West Australia. The other States had nlready passed tho Act, and tho West Australian enactment was tho final step.
