■NEW ZEALAND'S AUTONOMY. (By TVjlcEraph.—Press Association.) Christchurch, September 6. The secretary of the Methodist Conference has been advisod by oable that the Western .Australian Parliament has passed a Bill providing for the independence of the New Zealand Church. All tho Australian States havo now sanctioned separation Tho date of the declaration, of New Zealand independence mil ho gazetted y ' Auckland, September 6. The Methodist Church of Now Zealand is now definitely severed from the Methodist Church of Australia as nil independent body. A special Act had to bo passed by tlio Parliament of New Zenland and of each' of tho Australasian States. The president of tho Methodist Confers one© (tho Rev. Mr. Ready) received word to-day that the Bill had been passed by tho Parliament of West Australia. The other States had nlready passed tho Act, and tho West Australian enactment was tho final step.
