SHIP FOUNDERS OFF THE HORN.
SIX MEN REACH LAND. By Tcleirrarh-Presa Association-Copyrieht < London, September 3. The Cricoieth Castle, an iron sailing vessel of 1920 tons gross, bound from Peru to Antwerp, foundered off Cape Horn. A lifeboat with seventeen men, eleven of whom were alive and six dead, reached the Falkland Islands. Another boat, containing seven men, is missing. TERRIBLE SUFFERINGS. (Rec. September 5, 0.5 a.m.) London, September 4. The Cricoieth Castle survivors, including tho captain's wife and child, were seven days in the boat, and were three days without water. The majority suffered terribly from frost-bite. Tho second officer and a. seaman died after landing.
