Mexico City, September 1. The rebel commanders state that they will soon take possession of Cananea, a rich mining camp. There aro 2000 Amencans there. The Government troops have been withdrawn.

The robels at Vera Cruz are very savage; They hanged a man from the rafters of his house when he refused to give them money. His life wa.s prolonged by lowering.the body at intervals. They also tortured two mon on a neighbouring ranch, and hanged a dying boy. Tolnca, tho capital of Mexico State, reports that all villages, with tho exception of Zncnnlpan and Villa Guerre, are in the power of the rebels. Dr. James W. Wilson, a former Sur-geon-General of General Madero's army, has escaped after being two years with the rebel army, and has reached his homo at Tulsa,. Oklahoma. He fays tho rebels tear foreigners limb from limb, by tying their legs to horses and then starting the horses in opposite directions.
