Mr. Wilson is asking tho Government to consider a schemo of stationing nurses in the back-blocks during the winter, when wives of settlers are in a very trying position owing to the difficulty of getting oi\t to the towns, and the great expenso incurred in leaving home, many of theni having children too young to be left. AN AGRICULTURAL COLLEGE. Mr. Nosworthy has intimated that he will ask tho Government to consider the advisability of establishing a College of Agriculture, similar to the 'Eawliesbury College in .Now South Wales, in or near Ashburton.
