There had been downpours during the night, and early morning. The wicket was soft and play was delayed. Emery, MacLaren, Mayne, and Webster were omitted from tho Australian team. COUNTY MATCH COLLAPSE. London, August 18. , In the county match, Derbyshire t. Northamptonshire, twenty-seven wickets fell for a loss of 153 runs. Forrester (for Derbysliire) took 6even wickets for 18 runs, and East (Northamptonshire) fivo for 13. A CORRECTION. London, August 19. Bardsley's score in Saturday's play was 16 and Kclleway's nil.
