Copenhagen, August 18. Joergonsen, a Danish artillerist, has invented and tested an apparatus for throwing a shell to a height of a thousand feet. The bursting shell will oast a brilliant light over the countryside for a space of two minutes, and thus enable the discovery of a night attack.
