PRINCESS'S JEWELS STOLEN.
WELL-KNOWN BOXER ARRESTED. By Telegraph—Press Association-Cooyrielit London, August 2. "Kid" M'Coy, tho well-known boxer, has been charged on extradition proceedings with stealing from tho Palaco Hotel, Ostend, worth of jewels belonging to the Princess of Thura and Taxis, who is an archduchess of the Austrian Royal House. The thieves took a room adjoining tho Princess's suite of twenty-four rooms, and entered a bedroom while tho princess was in tho bathroom. They overlooked other jewellery worth i£lßo,ooo, including an JEBO.OOO necklace. M'Coy was allowed bail in the Rum of ,£3OOO. His counsel stated that the prisoner was staying at the Hotel Cecil and that the 'chargo rested on the unsupported allegation of a suspected woman. Three other arrests havo been made in Belgium.
