Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report on thoir Otalii sale, lield yesterday, as follows:—We had a jood yarding of both sheep and cattle, which we submitted to a full attendance of buyors, both selling well up to late rates. Sheep: Forward ewes, 10s. 2d. to 14s. 3d.; forward wethers, 17s. Id. to 17s. 3d.; small woolly lambs. IC-3. Ltd. to lie. 3d.; good hoceets, to 14s. 9d.; 2t(»;th wethers, to 12s. lid.; 4-tooth empty ewes, to 14s. Bd. Cattle: Fat cows, to £5;; springing heifers, £4 10s. to £7; heifers in calf, to £3 55.; empty cons, .S3 12s. 6d., £3 175., £4 2iS. 6d.; 18-month steers, to £3 135.; store cows, to £3 16.: springing dairy cows, £7 to £9 15s.
Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report:—At Otald on Tuesday wo had a good yarding of sheep and a fair one of cattle. All classes of sheep were eagerly sought after, nnd.tho whole of our yarding changed hamta at prices in favour of the vendors. The cattle consisted mostly of femnle stock, which sold at late lates. Fat wethers,l9s. Bd.; forward wethers, '7s. to 17s. 7d.; 2-tooth wethers, 15s. Bd.; hoggets, 95.; ewes in lamb, 195.; store ewes. Bs.; forward empty ewes. 12s. 2d.; springing cows. £7 ss. to £8 2s. 6d.; cows in calf, £4 135,; weaners, 255.
Messrs. Abraham and Williams report on their Jlarton sale, lield yesterday, as follows:—We had a heavy yarding jf sheep, principally ewes in lamb, of good quality, for which there was a fair demand. A small yarding of cattle sold at late rates. Two-tooth ewes in lamb (good), £1; medium. 15s. to 1 6s. Bd.; others, 13s. 6d. to 14s. 3d.; 2-tooth to f.f.m. ewes in lamb (sold in conjunction witli Dalgety and Co.), 16s. 4d„ 18s. 6d., and 195.; 4-tooth do., 18s. 2d.; mixed hoggets, 12s. sd. to 145.; wether hoggets. 12s. 9d.; ewe hoggets, lis. 2d.: forward ewes, 12s. Sd.; fat ewes, 14s. lid.; dairy cows. £6 to £7 10s.; fat cows, £6 2s. to £6 125.; forward cows, £4: m.ixed yearlings, £2 to £2 3s. 6d.; 20-months steers, £3 lfe.
Messrs. Williams and Kettle, Ltd., report holding their fortnightly sale at Woodville on Monday; when there was a very small entry of both sheen and cattle. Fat ewes. 14s. 8tl.; s.m. ewes in lamb, 17«. 7d.; mixed sex hoggets, lis. 6d.; store rows. £3 Is. to £3 Ids.; yearling steers, £2 10s.
