1> GORDON BENNETT COT. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyrieht (Roc. July 31, 1.5 a.m.) New-York, July 30. The balloon Undo Sam, piloted by 11. E. Honeywell, of St. Louis, starting from Kansas City, won tho elimination roco preparatory to tho Gordon Mennett flight. The balloon was thirty-five hours in tho air, and had covered 925 miles, when a storm forced a' desceait. SALISBURY PLAIN CONTEST. (Reo. July 31, 0.45 a.m.) London,' July 30. Thirty-two English and foreign aeroplanes have been entered for the Salisbury Plain coutest.
