Tho critics aro agreed that Barry is in excellent form, and tlio easiness, of his , action even while exerting his 'utmost powers conserves hia energy to a wonderful degree. Arnstfs immense strength, pace, and superb stamina have- greatly impressed every judge. One critic remarks: "Were Arnst fit and well there would be a distinct inclination to plump for him; but thore is just tho question whother in a strange and varidblo climate ho can with impunity shed forty-two pounds in three months. This, coupled with his recent indisposition, Biiggests the possibility of a strain affecting him. Nevertheless, Arnst is showing such form that Barry's task is exceedingly difficult."
