Tie wharf labourers refused to-day to work thq North Coast Company's steamer Burringbar, because of £h* employment of seamen in the steamer's holds. After a meeting of the Coastal Steamship Association, the North Coast. Company conceded, the wharf labourers' demand. It is expected that work will bo resumed tomorrow. The association claims that the demand is a breach of the award now in force.
