Present indications arc for a falling barometer everywhere soon, and especially in the south. Moderate to Etrong southerly breezes will probably change to freshening northerly winds after about sixteen hours; northward of New Plymouth and Napier, and • increasing northerlies elsewhere. Pair to cloudy and milder weather may be expected in the north, and increasing cloudiness, with rain following, on the West Coast and gouthern districts, and squally conditions in Fovcaux Strait. Tho weather has improved to-day everywhere except in Foveaux Strait. The barometer has risen considerably about East Cape and is high everywhere, but falling in the south.
