Messrs. Dalgety and Co. (Palmerston branch) report:—At our Palmerston sale yesterday a medium yarding of sheep and cattle came forward. Mixed lambs, to 10s. 3d.; good-conditioned lambs, to lis. 6d.; aged ewes in lamb, Bs. 6d.: four-tooth to five-year ewes in lamb, 13s. 5d.; store cows, £5 155.; thrco and a halt-yaar bullocks, £6 7s. 6d.
Mossrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited (Palmerston North branch) report.:—VTo had a very fair jntry of. stock at Jtarton on Tuosday, but, owing to very rough weather, several pens were turned out unsold. Mixedage ewes in lamb, to lCs. 7d.; empty stou2 ewes. 7s. 5d.; small two-tooth ewes, 10s. 2(1.; medium ewe lambs, to 10s. lid.; dairy cows, £7 to £8 55.; empty cows, £3 15s. The Sew Zealand-Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., Teport:—At Kongotea, on Wednesday, \vc had a good entry of sheep and cattle, the latter consisting mostly of female sorts. A good sale resulted, and. with the exception of an odd cow, every lino was quitted. Sheep: Cull lambs, 4s. Bd. to ss. 9d.: medium lambs, 7s. lCd.; forward ewes, lis. 4(1.; two-tooth ewes in lamb, 17s. Cattle: Wcancrs (small and inferior), 103. to 19s. 6d.; good weaners, 375. 6d.; weancr heifors. Jersey cross. £2 12,=.; empty heifers. £2 13s. to £3; heifers in calf, £5 to £6 10s.; store cows, _£2 6s. to £2 155.: forward cows, £3 to £3 16-s.: fat cows, £5 4s. to £5 75.; cows in calf, £3 to .•24 125.; better sorts, £5 to £6 55.; cows in mill;, £5 15s. to £7 7s. 6d. A herd of dairy cows on account of Mr. Beckman, £4 10s. to £10; a herd on account of Mr. Cook, £3 17s. Gd. to £7 155.; hull. £4 l£s.; pony, £5; aged half-draught. £25 15s. Pigs: Slips, Bs.; sows in pig, 375. 6d. to £2 2s. Tho New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co.. Ltd.. report:—At Palmerston North on Thursday we had a moderate entry of sheep and eattte, which sold at late rates. Forward lamhs, 10s.; wenners, 85s. to 3Ss. fid.; springing heifers, £7; cows in calf, £5. Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report:—At our Palmerston North sale, held yesterday, wo had a small yarding or both sheep and cattle, which sold at late rates. Sheep:. Four-tooth ewes in lamb, 14a 2d.: fat and forward ewes, 13s. Id.; fat lamhs, 10s. 3d.
