Messrs. Dalgety and Company. Ltd., Palmerston North, roport having a very cood yarding of both sheen and cattle at their lY'ildiiiK sale on Friday, practically all of which were sold at prices as below:—Cull lambs, to 55.; small lambs, to 7s. 4d.; medium wether lambs, Bs. sd. to Bs. 9(1.; mixed lambs, to Bs. lid.; fair ewe lambs, to 103. Id.: good mixed lambs. 10s. 2d. to 10s. 3d.; empty ewes, to 10s.; forward owes, lis. to lis. Id.: light fat and forward ewos, to 125.; 4-tooth ewes in lamb. 15s. 4d. to 15s. Bd. Cattle: 2fl-months heifers, £3 17s. M.; dairy heifers. £5 55.. £5 10s. to £7; spring- . iuc cows, £7 10s. Messrs. A. H. Atkinson a.nd Co., Ltd., Fcilding, report that at Friday's sale they offered the usual yarding of pigs, which sold at better rates. There was good inquiry for slips and store pigs, and if trucking quantities were yarded, good sales could be made any week. Potatoes were scllimr at bettor values, and onions wero scarce and inquired for, also pumpkins. They nuotc:—Onions. Us. to 12s. per cwt.; pumpkins, Bs. to 9s. per sack:' marrows, 6s. to 75.; potatoes, 9s. to 10s. 6d.; pig. Is. fid. to 2s. 6d., with cood inquiry. Apples, 3s. to 4s. for cooking, and 6s. to 7s. 6d. for dessert; pears, 6s. to 6s. 6d. Swedes, Is. 6d.; parsnips, Is. 6d.; carrots. Is. 3d. per sugar hag; cabbages, 6s. per sack. Chaff, £4 per ton (several tons sold); bran, ss. 9d. to 6a. per sack. Poultry: Hens, 25., 2s. Hi.. 2s. 9d.. 35.; roosters, 25., 2s. 6d., 3*.; P.TJ., 7s. tot 7b. 6d.; ducks. 3s. to 3s. 6d. fall at ner pair).
