A Tokomaru Wedding, A pretty wedding took place, at Tokoniaru on Wednesday, May 1, when Fioreuco Sophia .Simpson, sixth daughter of Mr. and ill's.'o. A. Simpson, of Tokomaru, was married to Mr. John Andcrs-an, eldest son uf Mrs. Anderson, Pulmcrsion North. 'J'lie bride, who was given away by her father, wore a very, pretty white silk dress with the usual veil and orange blossoms, and was accompanied by her sister,. Miss Ethel .Simpson and her niece, Miss llettv Hunter, as bridesmaids. Mr. Grur, of I'almerston North, acted as best man to the bridegroom, who presented the bride with a beautiful set uf furs and the bridesmaids with a gold brooch each. The church was decorated for the occasion and the minister, Mr. M'Kenzie, presented to the bride and bridegroom n lliblo as a memento of being the first couple married in the church. After the ceremony the guests repaired to the Town Ilali, whoro the wedding breakfast was held and everyone photographed. In the afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Anderson left for the north whore the honeymoon will be spoilt. The bride's travelling dress was a navy blue costume with hat to match. Feilding Notes. Miss Beatrico Ferguson, whose marriage to Mr. George Warwick lakes place cm Wednesday next, was the of honour at a very enjoyable evening given on Thursday last at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Porter, Bruce Avenue, Fitchott. The annual meeting of tho Central Mission Ladies' Guild was held on May 1.
