MISSIONS TO SEAMEN.
There was a largo attendance at tho Institute Inst evemnz, when a concert, kindly arranged by Miss Anderson, was given to an appreciative audience. In the absence of the missioner Qh. F, H. Shell), who was unable through illness to bo present, Mr. P. Gardner, the organist, occupied the chair. Items were contributed by the following lr.tiips awl gentlemen :—Misses Anketcll, M., Kutiwr, Mesdames Kutner, Egerton, ' Hill-Beckett, Messrs. Evrart, Austin, liitskin, Austin, and Anderson. Misses Ankctcll and Anderson played the accompaniments. A singins competition waa held among the seamen present. Hearty votes of thanks to 'Miss Anderson end the performers brought an enjoyable evening to n close.
