Mr. John 1,. Barton, F.K.A., F.1.A., NX, opened a discussion on the accounts for the vear ended March, 11111. of the Wellington Corporation Tramways. Mr. Barton pro. faced his remarks by slating that tho accounts as submitted by the corporation were the best in form and detail it had been his privilege to inspect. Mr. Barton dealt at some length with variant points in the accounts, illustrating clearly the method of allocation of expenditure. Tho depreciation and sinking fundi were discussed at_ some length.
