M n- t V, P -. Skcrrett . K.C., with him Mr. C. a. Monson, appeared for tho appellants, and Mr. It. D. Bell, K.C., with him Mr. C. H. Treadwell, for the respondents. Particulars of the original action were published yesterday. The appeal was from a decision of Mr. Justice Edwards delivered in Wellington on October 17 last. Legal argument had not concluded yesterday, and the hearing will be continued at 10.30 to-day.
