THE PLOI'GHIXG MATCH. At liif In.-I general meeting of (lie Wairarapa unci East Coast J', and A. Sotietv, presided over liy Mr. W. Howard Booth, seven new members were elected. The committee considered delnil~ in connection with, the ploughing match, and llic olt'er of a paddock of 20 acres at Claievillc was accepted with thanks. A committee was appointed to inspect Ihe paddock, and to lay of]' the ground when onirics had been received. Air. (.'. J. Hrogden was reported to have accepted Iho position of one of the two iudgpi of the ploughing. Oilier judges we're nominated and are to be written to. It was resolved to give ?. smoke concert to competitors and judges on the night of the match, also to present the prizes won. The arrangements were nearly completed for a luncheon tent to be on the ground, and it was stated that the luncheon would be in capable hands. It is expected that schedules for t.ho match will be issued shortly, and these will state where competitors coming from a distance can be accommodated close to the ground. The committee anticipate a large attendance of the public at this match, which is being held in snch a central position. : Chick-rearing is not only profitable, but a pleasure,when you feed "A and V" Chick-Raiser.
