Dr. Cleary, Bishop of Auckland, at the opening of St. Mary's primary School, spoke on militant irrcligion. Ho declared that the great battleground of the future would bo the schools. Already tho advance guards of irrcligion were attacking Europe. If '.ve could keep the children ■ within tho ranks of the Church, he said, we would hand to future generations a priceless asset.
