SteWart, a well-known breeder of long-wool stud sheep in New Zealand, in a letter to the press strongly, protests against the inspection fees imposed by tho Commonwealth on stock imported from Now Zealand. 'He declares that the result will be that Now Zealand breeders will not exhibit at tho Sydney shows, and it will prove a serious thing for Australia if the settlers cannot import the best New Zealand sheep, so as to improvo their stock aud tho quality of their mutton for the Home markets.
