FIGHTING IN FEZ.
TWENTY EUROPEANS KILLED. By Tclesraph-Prcss Association—CopyciEht Tangier, April 19. Twenty Europeans have been killed in the native rebellion in Fez. I'ighting continues between tho rebels and the French, troops. I'ive thousand French are marching from Hckinos, Tho nativo troops mutinied becauso they objected to a regulation, for the part payment of wages in food. They shot all tho French officers and instructors, attacked tho wireless station, killing four operators, and looted the French bank and tho French, quarter generally. French reinforcements are guarding the consulates. SULTAN RESCUED BY FRENCH TROOPS. (Rec, April 21, 5.5 p.m.) Paris, April SO. French troops havo occupied tho disturbed area in Fez, and have rescued the Sultan. The troops lost ten killed. Two forces from tho Aityussi tribe are marching to help the rebels. French reinforcements from Mekinoz, after heavy fighting, captured tho rebel positions, and quiet has been restored.
